Privacy notice
What we collect when you use this site or send us an enquiry, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
ZapWorx Consulting Ltd is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England & Wales, company number 17456548, and our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email contact@zapworxconsulting.com.
What we collect
When you just browse. Nothing about you is stored. The site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider necessarily sees your IP address in order to deliver the pages.
When you send the contact form. We receive:
- what you type in: your name, email address, and your company, phone number and how you heard of us if you give them, and your message;
- how you reached the site: the first page you landed on, the website that linked you to it (if any), and any campaign tags in that link;
- your IP address, which we keep for up to two hours to stop the form being abused, then delete automatically.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss work you are considering — because you asked us to (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract), and in our legitimate interest in answering the businesses that contact us.
- To understand how people find us — the referring website and campaign tags — in our legitimate interest in knowing which introductions work.
- To keep the form working — your IP address, briefly, in our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse.
We don’t send marketing, sell your details, or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else handles it
- Our own team.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts the site and processes the form, in its London region.
- Resend, a US email-delivery service, which delivers each enquiry to our inbox.
- Our email provider, which holds the inbox your enquiry lands in.
Each handles your data only on our instructions. The one transfer outside the UK is to Resend, which is based in the United States; that transfer is protected by the safeguards in Resend’s data processing terms, as UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
- Your IP address: up to two hours.
- An enquiry that doesn’t lead to work: deleted within two years.
- If you become a client: for the length of our work together, then for as long as UK law requires us to keep business records — typically six years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it over in a portable form. You can also object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests. Email contact@zapworxconsulting.com. It’s free, and we will reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.

If how we handle your data changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
